2019 Street, Sidewalk and Water Line Project Update

September 19, 2019

The 2019 street, sidewalk and water projects on Western Ave. , Coulee Blvd. and Grand Ave. have commenced. Crews have successfully pulverized the asphalt and installed most of the stormwater facilities.

The planned schedule indicated that crews will continue stormwater facility work through the week of September 23rd.

Water Main construction is expected to begin September 25th and be completed the second week of October.

Residential water services will be installed beginning October 14th and take approximately a week.

Curbing and sidewalks are expected to be constructed from October 1st through October 17th.

The project is expected to be finished up by the end of November.

There will be road closures, and intermittent water shutoffs as we proceed on the projects. We will try to notify residents and businesses as far in advance as possible. Keep checking back for updates to the project here, and on Facebook. You can always call city hall for more information at 509-633-1510.
